Sweeping is an essential step in the floor cleaning process. Before starting to wash, it is essential to remove dust, crumbs, hair and other debris to ensure optimum floor hygiene. A properly swept floor reduces the presence of particles which, when mixed with water or cleaning products, can form a film on the floor that is difficult to remove.

1. Indoor sweeping (offices, local authorities, hospitals)

Indoor floors are often littered with dust, hair and crumbs. To sweep effectively, you need an ergonomic telescopic handle made in France and an aluminium Velcro trapeze. It's important to attach a foam pad to the underside of the trapeze to protect the floor and avoid scratching or damaging it. There are two options for sweeping on this trapeze:

Option 1: Use of disposable gauze: practical and effective

• Gauze is available in bags or rolls
• The gauze is placed on the foam pad. The gauze captures and holds the dirt with its electrostatic power
• When sweeping is complete, the gauze is disposed of in the bin along with the captured dirt.
• Gauze rolls are more environmentally friendly because they are made from recycled plant material.

Option 2: Use of a washable mop: ecological because it can be reused

• The sweeping mop is positioned with the grey side against the ground and is attached to the frame with its Velcro side.
• After use, the mop must be washed and can withstand over 200 washes, even in an industrial dry wash cycle.

2. Scanning large indoor spaces (warehouses, workshops, supermarkets)

Large indoor spaces pose different problems. This is the case, for example, for warehouses, large distribution areas, industries or workshops. These indoor spaces need to be swept quickly despite the large size of the area to be cleaned, but are often in a more advanced state of dirt. Some floors may even contain waste such as bits of wood or plastic, for example. So it's important to sweep effectively. There are two possible options with the GUIALTO sweeping range.

a. Sweeping surfaces without large pieces of debris on the floor

• Sweeping mops and frames are essential tools for sweeping large indoor areas quickly and efficiently.

• Sweeping mops must be washed regularly to maintain their effectiveness, and can withstand over 200 washes, even in an industrial dry wash cycle.

b. Sweeping surfaces with waste such as wood chips, iron enamel or any other residue

• Choose an industrial broom from the SafeBrush range, available in 40, 60 and 80 cm.
• This type of broom is made up of soft yellow and hard black fibres to collect all types of waste

3. Sweeping outdoor floors
